(Priced below appraisal) Welcome to the coveted 100 block of Kenwick, where history, design, and modern living collide. With private gated access to Kenwick Table right out the back door, you're not just buying a home — you're buying into the heartbeat of one of Lexington's most sought-after neighborhoods. Built in 1926, this Craftsman has been completely gutted to the studs, re-engineered with oversized iron I-beam supports well beyond code, and rebuilt while preserving the architectural soul that makes these homes timeless. If you know anything about Craftsman design, you know they were created to have character — moody, thoughtful, and designed to stand apart. This home honors that tradition beautifully. The exterior features dark green siding with bold black trim and preserves the original builder's signature X-patterns along the roofline as a nod to nearly 100 years of architectural. history. Every detail balance authenticity with modern function, resulting in a home that feels both timeless and brand new. Inside, wide-plank white oak hardwood flooring sets the stage. The original fireplace has been refinished with a white surround, white oak mantel, and marble hearth. Natural light pours in, highlighting the open floor plan that seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The kitchen is a true showpiece: custom cabinetry with white uppers and glass-front toppers with lighting, white oak base cabinetry and island, LumaTaj mitered-edge quartz countertops, a square antique-inspired backsplash, and a 36-inch dual-fuel gas range beneath a custom wood hood. Stainless Frigidaire Professional and Gallery appliances, including a drawer microwave and dishwasher, complete the package. Gold Pendant lighting with fixtures found throughout the home. Off the kitchen, a tiled laundry room with pantry space offers everyday convenience. The first-floor primary suite is a private retreat, featuring a double vanity with mitered quartz counters, pendant-lit gold mirrors, and a custom glass shower with rainfall and waterfall fixtures in champagne bronze. Down the hall, the emerald green tiled bathroom steals the spotlight with floor-to-ceiling soldier-stacked tile, a freestanding stone composite soaking tub (not plastic), a floor-mounted gold faucet, a walk-in glass shower, and a white oak vanity with quartz countertop. A front bedroom on the main level, outfitted with French privacy doors and a closet, works perfectly as an office, library, or guest room. Upstairs, a brand-new addition features vaulted ceilings, two spacious bedrooms, and a third full bathroom that matches the home's elevated finishes. White oak hardwood flooring continues throughout, reinforcing the commitment to quality in every detail. From champagne bronze hardware to spray-foam insulation, new dual-fuel HVAC downstairs with mini-split upstairs, new electrical, new plumbing, and every surface renewed, nothing was overlooked. Outside, enjoy a Trex front porch, new rebar-enforced driveway, French-drained downspouts, oversized 6-inch gutters, new sod, and fresh landscaping. And of course, the private back gate to Kenwick Table an amenity few homes will ever offer. This Craftsman offers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and over 2,300 sq. ft. of beautifully finished living space. More than just a home, it's a story a piece of Kenwick history reimagined for the next century. Bold, moody, timeless, and unforgettable.
