2254 Carrick Road, Lexington, KY 40511

Listing Description

The horse farm region of Northern Fayette County is populated with some of the finest equine nurseries in the world. As they have grown, the availability of well-located, undeveloped farmland has diminished. This 202 acre general agriculture farm neighbors Corinthia Farm (Winchell Thoroughbreds), Dixiana/Domino, Hester Equestrian, Indian Mound Farm, Lane's End Oak Tree, Mt. Brilliant, Oasis Stables, and Spendthrift, to name only a few. The farm boasts very good soils, ample road frontage, city water, and a lovely pond. Mature tree lines gift the property with a serene & unique privacy, whilst being only minutes from Downtown Lexington, the Kentucky Horse Park, or equine hospitals. In addition, three homes offer on-site living for employees. With a location at the height of convenience and desirability, one may, as so many neighbors have done, develop the property further into a lovely horse farm, or maintain it as a productive crop operation and long-term investment opportunity.
